The 4th of July is a celebration of all things American, or what has simply come to be known as American, and Americans all over the world will be celebrating the country’s founding day in a multitude of various ways. Gamers will be given another way to celebrate our nation’s continued independence this year, compliments of Activision, who will be releasing a special song available for free to download for Guitar Hero 3. As a nod to one of the most iconic phenomenons in America, Activision will be making available the Grammy-award winning Top Gun Anthem” from the movie of the same name.

The song, which will be entirely instrumental, will be made available for download to fans of the Top Gun film and rock music as a whole on both the Xbox Live Arcade and Playstation Store starting July 3rd.
