Boy do I ever love Puzzle Quest. For some reason, the combination of casual gem swapping with fairly complex RPG elements just gets my engine going. In fact, the hardest thing for me when my Xbox died and I had to send away for a replacement was being without my beloved Puzzle Quest for such a long time.

Those sharing an infatuation similar to mine will be happy to know that the new expansion, Revenge of the Plague Lord, will be landing on Xbox Live tomorrow, giving you reason to love the game all over again. The update not only features a grossly-named villian, but also 25 new quests, 50 new spells, 40 new items, four new heroes, and the ability to level your character all the way up to level 60. As if that weren’t enough, three new Achievements have also been added, thus making the 700 point price tag well worth it.

So with all that new content, this should definitely be a title that can keep you occupied until Galactrix is released next year. Oh, who am I kidding? There’s no such thing as too much Puzzle Quest. Give us Galactrix now, D3, I beg of you!
