We’ve all been eagerly awaiting Fallout 3 for what seems like an eternity now, even though all we knew was its fall due date and promises to be all kinds of awesome. However, we weren’t sure which month to clear off our calendars in anticipation of losing all our free time, so now Bethesda has kindly told us that October 28 is the day we should kiss our loved ones goodbye.
The game, set in a post-apocalyptic future version of Washington, DC, has been a critical darling and sits atop almost all the "most anticipated" lists this year. Now we know the game is all but finished, and we’ll be blasting mutants and roaming the irradiated countryside in just a couple of short months. Just remember, once you emerge from the Vault, you likely won’t even speak to your real family again for months.
