Microsoft is planning a significant addition to the December 4th Xbox 360 Dashboard Update. The new addition will make the process of making friends on Xbox Live easier by viewing the friends list of other Xbox Live members direct from the Xbox Live Dashboard. This type of upgrade was inspired by social networking websites such as MySpace and FaceBook which use such a system to enable people to connect with other online. This upgrade comes as a both a way of allowing Xbox Live to connect with a more modern generation of players but also shows Microsoft’s continued dedication toward those players. In keeping with the spirit of giving customers what they want Microsoft has allowed given people a way to keep their list of friends private if they so choose. The instructions on how to do this are as follows: simply go to www.xbox.com/fof and select one out of the three options.
1.Everyone-This option is only available to those members who are 18 and over.
2. Friends-This option is available to those 13 and older
3. Blocked-This feature is the default setting for Xbox Live members younger then 13 and freely available to all others.
More information on the Xbox Live update will be available as we receive it.
