It’s a sad day for hard-core Fable II fans… First we find out online co-op not being ready on day one, and now this?! Why Peter? Why!
Okay so maybe it’s not that bad but people who were getting ready to play with their newly acquired ‘Hobbe’ figures and Fate Cards are in for a bit of a sting. Due to a mysterious “supply chain issue,” the Fable II’s Collector Edition will now be shipping without the Hobbe Figure, the five fate cards, and the premium box. Thankfully, the Collectors Editions price will be dropped from the original $80 dollars to $70.
There is still a lot of nifty stuff for you to check out though. Here’s a list of the items that will be featured in the Collectors Edition courtesy of Kotaku:
- Fable II game disc
- Bonus DVD with new ‘Making-of’ Feature
- Bonus in-game content (requires Xbox LIVE®)
-‘The Hall of the Dead’ Dungeon
-‘The Wreckager’ Legendary Cutlass Weapon
-Spartan armor and energy sword
Along with that, Lionhead is so generous that they are giving away a Fable album they created for the game as a free download. All of you have to do is go to this site, starting October 6th, and enter the secret password (FableCollection). How nice of them…
