2k Games releases upgrades for Bioshock.
Posted by Nick2728, Dec 5, 2007 12:58

At 2k Games’s Cult of Rapture website the company has posted information regarding a series of upgrades for both the Xbox 360 and PC version of Irrational Games’s first person shooter title Bioshock. This includes new plasmids for use in game such as Machine Expert 1 and 2, Sonic Boom, and EVE Saver and the re addition of the Human Inferno tonic for the PC. The PC and Xbox 360 also include a variety of bug fixes such as a new widescreen Horizontal FOV option for both the Xbox 360 and PC versions of the game, a fix for a mouse acceleration issue on the PC, and a fix for a rare bug where the action hangs when there are a number of things going on at once.

The Xbox 360 also has a number of gameplay upgrades for it such as being able to disable the Vita Chamber option, a new Xbox Live Achievement that awards player 100 points for beating the game without use of the Vita Chamber called “Brass Balls”. This achievement can only be obtained by beating the game on Hard mode, not using a Vita Chamber, and players can leave the Vita Chamber on or off as long as players do not resurrect. To view a complete list of the upgrades please visit the Cult of Rapture website at http://www.2kgames.com/cultofrapture/pcpatch.html
