Midway Games has announced today the release of it’s new first person shooter BlackSite: Area 51 for the Xbox 360 and the PC in stores all across North America. The game features the novel One Button Command system of gameplay which is supported by a interactive in game environment where certain objects and environments can be destroyed and transformed into ruins to create areas of cover for both the enemy and the players and both can be destroyed if enough firepower is poured onto them.  BlackSite: Area 51 also promises a high degree of action, a graphics engine that has been upgraded to maximize the technology of next generation graphics  technology and also features an equally advanced artificial intelligence program.

In BlackSite: Area 51 players will take the role of Aeran Pierce, a soldier in command of black ops soldiers who each have their own combat talents, who will be lead into the area around Rachel, Nevada to combat hordes of unknown alien races. In addition to the single player mode there are also numerous multiplayer modes to maximize the replayability of BlackSite: Area 51.
