The K2 Network announced today that its new website, GamersFirst.com, has gone live. All through 2008, new features will be added to the site, with the initial batch added today. By creating a GamersFirst or G1 account, gamers will be able to utilize K2’s various products already released and those to be released in one central location. User can also purchase G1 Credits which can be used on site to buy a variety of titles. The titles available for download on the GamersFirst.com site include Global MU Online, Knight Online, Red Stone, Sword of the New World, and War Rock.

New to the site is “Free2Play News” that gives users access to wallpapers, articles, screenshots and videos along with the “What is G1?” and “What’s Next” areas of the site that discuss both future and present activities on G1.

To commemorate the site’s first day up, G1 is sponsoring  G1 giveways which will last 12 weeks and offers a number of prizes won by raffle. These prizes include Alienware Desktop PCs, the Apple Ipod Touch, Creative Labs Aurvana Headphones, Samsung 19-inch LCD Monitors, and a variety of other prizes. Website users can join in on the contest by creating an account, referring friends to the site, and playing on-site games.

Joshua Hong, the CEO and co-founder of the K2 Network, stated that “as our user base has grown to more than 16 million worldwide, we decided to create a single convenient destination where gamers could access everything K2 Network has to offer.” Mr. Hong also added that “with all the exciting features we have planned for 2008, gamers around the world will soon have an awesome place to come together. It is going to be one big GamersFirst family!”
