Microsoft Planning Changes to Xbox LIVE
Posted by Nick24444, 295 days ago Feb 18, 2008 20:55

According to a job posting that appeared on the Jobs section of Microsoft’s website, there are new things planned for Xbox LIVE in the future. The ad is asking for a Program Manager for a branch office in Redmond, Washington. The text of the posting asks the possible applicant if they “Want to be involved in the next release of Xbox?” This upgrade to Xbox LIVE seems to involve, according to the job posting, “a totally new LIVE experience” which consists of a “dashboard experience” that “will be deeply paired with dynamic server support to create a compelling, fresh scenario each time.”

All this sounds fine and dandy but the rest of the job description points to some curious facts as Microsoft is asking for the hired candidate to lead a “small team” to “wear multiple hats to get things done quickly.” That doesn’t sound like the conditions for a sweeping upgrade, but as with most such rumors, only time will tell what shape it’ll take. Stick right here to TheGameReviews.com for more updates as we get them.

Prev: N+ to be Released This Week on XBLA
Next: New Magic: The Gathering Title Expanding to Numerous Platforms.
