A post on the Xbox World 360 blog was made today stating that the latest issue of its hardcopy gaming publication aka magazine will feature screenshots and insider information regarding the Xbox 360 version of Goldeneye, currently being developed by Rare. The February issue will also give interested gamers details regarding how well developed the gameplay is on the Xbox 360 wireless controller, and what makes this game different from the previous Goldeneye title, which had its heyday in the days of the N64 gaming console.
The latest issue of Xbox World 360 will be available wherever magazines are sold on Wednesday, February 27th.
That’s not the only news about future games releases that we at TheGameReviews.com have for you today, though. It has also reached us via G4’s X-Play program, which featured an interview with the Lead Designer of Portal, Kimberley Swift, during which Swift stated that Doug Lombardi has officially confirmed that a sequel to Portal was going to be made available.
You can view the original G4 X-Play interview with Kimberly Swift here.
Last but not least, we have a final fascinating tidbit from Joystiq who picked up news from Brash Entertainment, who was telling the crowd at this year’s GDC that it had a slew of movie based video game titles in the works. One of these titles that are waiting for their chance at stardom is a video game version of the horror slasher flick Saw, which, according to co-creator of Brash Mitch Davis, is going to be developed for the Xbox 360 and PS3 by Zombie, who brought to life America’s Army. The game isn’t going to see the light of day till October of next year but we can only hope, as always, that it’ll be worth the wait.
