Radar Group has confirmed to EDGE magazine three of the six titles they are currently overseeing. These are Prey 2, Incarnate and Earth No More.
Prey 2, which is the sequel to the popular Xbox 360 game Prey, will be developed with Human Head and will be released for the 360 and PC. For those of you that remember the ending to the last one, this would come as no surprise, as in the last scene, the words “To be continued” popped up. Prey 2 kicks of seven years after the original, following the main character Tommy, as he is released from prison after being wrongly blamed for the disappearances of a bunch of people. Human Head plans on expanding on the original in every way, with Portals, Narrative holes and spirit powers leading the charge.
The second game, Incarnate, is an Assassin’s Creed like title, which will be coming out on 360, PS3 and PC. The emphasis of this title is chasing down reincarnated souls of evil people from our history. Similar to Assassin’s Creed, it will also boast an open word for you to explore. The city in question is Chicago.
Radar Group co-founder Scott Miller, who is also the founder of 3D Realms, had this to say about the gameplay:
“Elaborate chase gameplay that Assassin’s Creed barely touched upon."
Last but not least is Earth No More. Recoil Games will work on it alongside 3D Realms. It’s a shooter that will be coming out for the 360, PS3 and PC. It is based around “science gone wrong” (where have we heard that before) where a virus has swept across the land with disastrous effect. They promise Co-operative play and a heavy emphasis on story.
