Criterion’s Burnout: Paradise, released earlier this year, was generally lauded as a beautiful yet flawed racer for the Xbox 360 and PS3. The game, though innovative in its open design and challenges, has been host to a bevy of bugs and issues, some of which allowed gamers to manipulate race results or crash the system.
Criterion has promised to fix many of these problems in its new downloadable update, codenamed “Bogart,” available April 24th on both systems. Xbox 360 owners, however, are enjoying this patch a little earlier.
The update is now available on Xbox Live, almost one week early. While the downloadable content is more patch than new content, it does seem to address many of the issues gamers have complained about or exploited in recent months.
A full list of feature updates and corrections can be read at Criterion’s blog here.
