All those Xbox 360 owners who eagerly downloaded Burnout Paradise’s Bogart Patch will have to just as eagerly download it again next week. Criterion is recalling the patch due to frame rate issues that crop up when the game is running at high speeds, and since this is a Burnout game, high is pretty much the only speed there is.
The plan is to re-release the patch next week with all the bugs worked out, thus giving you something to do other than actually play the game waiting for you in your disc tray. Currently, the PS3 version of the patch is still scheduled to make its initial release tomorrow, so here’s hoping that one isn’t as mucked up as its Xbox 360 cousin.
