Posted by predator, 70 days ago Apr 25, 2008 10:02

Microsoft have today announced their revenue for the first three months of the year (Q3) for the entertainment and devices division. Microsoft have reason to be cheerful as the division on a whole grew 68% over the same quarter last year, driven by “robust” demand for the Xbox 360 console.

In the third quarter that ends March 31st, Microsoft announced that 1.3 million Xbox 360 consoles were sold worldwide, bringing the total sold to over 19 million. With games such as Ninja Gaiden 2, Gears of War 2, Halo Wars and Fable 2 to name a few, you can expect this aggressive sales trend to continue.
